Our colleagues at CoCo (Community Coalition Los Angeles) are  kicking off the summer with their first annual People Power Convention on Saturday, June 25th2016 at Southwest College.
This is a place for South LA residents to talk about what they’ve experienced in our community and get training by experts on topics of health, civic engagement, mass incarceration and the economic crisis.

We’ll have a special program so South LA residents have chance to speak, be heard, and take action to create a stronger, safer, cleaner, and prosperous South LA. Adults and children of all ages are welcome to participate.

There will be an additional program designed to empower youth ages 13 to 18. We will also have a children’s program for ages 12 and under. Sign up the whole family for this amazing event!Below are some of our Adult Workshop Topics:
